THA Lady Rebels Add Another Region Win

The Lady Rebels added one more to the win column on Thursday evening with a score of 15-1 against Pinewood Prep in an important region game at home. The game was called due to the 10 run mercy rule after the top of the 5th inning. The Lady Rebels led 4-1 going into the bottom of the 3rd, when they scored 11 runs to seal the game. THA’s records stands at 4 – 1 in region play, 15 – 5 overall. The girls will be back in action on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the Azalea Tournament in Summerville.

Thomas Heyward Lady Rebels take two at Holly Hill

The Lady Rebels are back! After two rough road losses to Bluffton High and Colleton Prep, the Lady Rebels took both games of a double header at Holly Hill on Wednesday evening, winning the first game 8 to 3 and the second 9 to 4. The girls will be in action at home this afternoon (Thursday) at 4:00 against Pinewood Prep. The boys’ varsity will play after the girls’ game.

2010 BCSO SPRING GOLF TOURNAMENT

Where: The Legends at Parris Island

Registration: 10:30 am
Shotgun Start: 12:00 pm

Four-Man Captain’s Choice
Cost: $55 per player

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, closest to the pin on all par 3’s, and longest drives for men and women.  Also available will be door prizes that include rounds or golf and gift certificates for area restaurants and numerous other fine items.

Mulligan tickets will be available at registration and will be used to draw door prizes at the end of play.

The first 100 golfers to pay their entry fees will be guaranteed to participate. There are still plenty of player spaces available, so please sign up early or you may miss out on a truly fun event. To reserve your place, please contact SSgt. Brian Baird.

Proceeds from this event will be used to support the BCSO Appreciation Dinner held each year to honor our Deputies, Administrative Personnel and all our Volunteers for their service to our community.
